I am here Mukpo

This is two panels from the inside wall of the building where the first Shambhala meditation center met in Halifax, Nova Scotia in the 1980s. Chogyam Trungpa visited the center and calligraphed "I am here MUKPO" on the wall. When the center moved, they wanted to take the panels with them. It was only possible to take the last two panels, which say "UKPO." The Shambhala Archives has plans to recreate the whole calligraphy at some point in the future. Someone commented this looks almost like graffiti -- which in fact it is, sort of!

Was this in the building at Cornwalls?

If so I think we can still recover it.

I am here ukpo is stored in the basement at Tower Road. We have been looking for a home for the two panels, but don't yet have a place to install them. The M was destroyed at some point, I believe.
